• The project must be valued at $5,000 or more.

• Claims must be submitted within 30 days of the project’s completion.

2. Before Filing a Claim

• Please notify us in writing within 10 days of discovering the problem, so the contractor has a chance to fix it.

• The contractor will have 14 days to address the issue. If the problem is unresolved, you may file a claim.

3. What You’ll Need to Submit

• A copy of the contract and invoice.

• Clear, dated photos of the problem, before and after any attempted fixes.

• Correspondence between you and the contractor (emails, call logs).

• Two independent assessments from licensed professionals detailing the issue and repair costs.

4. How to Submit Your Claim

• Send all required documents via certified mail to TrustQuote.

• All forms must be complete to avoid delays or denials.

• After submission, we’ll schedule a phone consultation to review your claim.

• An independent expert may inspect the issue, and this inspection must be scheduled within 10 days.

5. What’s Not Covered?

• Cosmetic concerns (like minor imperfections or color choices).

• Issues caused by material defects, acts of nature, or other unforeseen circumstances.

• Changes or additional work done by yourself or another contractor after the original project.

6. Reimbursement Limits

• The maximum reimbursement is $2,000.

• The guarantee only covers the cost of fixing the issue, not additional expenses like temporary housing or lost income.

7. Claims Decisions

• We carefully review each claim. However, incomplete or missing documentation may lead to a denial.

• All decisions are final.

8. Resolving Disputes

• We encourage arbitration before pursuing legal action.

• Arbitration will take place at a mutually convenient location, and each party is responsible for their own legal fees.
